Photoshop: A how to stitch multiple photos together

This photo is compiled of 8 vertical shots taken in Venice, Italy.  It is super easy to do, check out how!

Before going into photoshop, lets discuss how to take the pictures.  For best results, have your camera on a tripod that easily can pan a landscape.  Put your camera in the vertical position, focus the on the scene, & then put the camera on manual. This will keep the focal point consistent on the scene.  Then start taking your pictures.  Make sure you get ALL aspects of scene, it's OK to overlap a little.  Something like this....

Now import your images to photoshop.  Make sure you edit each picture the same. (i.e. if you saturate one image by 20%, make sure you do the same to each other image)  This is key for the consistency of the photo.
Stitching:  Now open photoshop and click File > Automate > Photomerge.  Click Browse > select your files you want to stitch > Click OK.    It's that simple!
